I’m in NYC for the month of November showing the Tasmanian and NZ wines in my portfolio to my friends in the restaurant scene here. Nice time to be here, right after the economy has hit the schnitzel. Needless to say, it’s still a good time to visit. The tourists and mosquitos have left for the moment, it’s below zero, and Central Park belongs to me. From here I’m to Chicago, then Bordeaux for a week, and to punish myself I’ll chill in Paris, London, and Dublin. I look forward to seeing my Australian friends and assassins, but for now it’s time to sell some cool climate wines in a freezing one.
