Brash Higgins 2024 ‘NYMPH’ Rosé

NYMPH24 FRONT

Our eighth vintage of NYMPH is a dry, coppery blend of Mataro and Carignan from vines on the neighbouring Lennon Vineyard. Hand picked during a busy period in the winery, during an even busier, and fruitful 2024 vintage. All the fruit was pressed together whole cluster slowly back at HQ overnight, then fermented wild in a stainless tank for vibrancy. A texturally complex style of wine; one that’s well suited chilled for beach or poolside consumption.

The painting on the 2024 Nymph label is called “Ascent” by Sydney based artist Martine Emdur. Her engrossing, luminous, underwater work can be found all over, but she is based in Bondi Beach, Sydney.

‘Touch misty, opalescent copper in appearance. The wine is exudes red apple, nectarine, hibiscus-tea, cinnamon apple and balsamic aromatics. Fresh notes of wild honey and refreshing sweet and sour Braeburn apples flow onto the palate with texture; a snappy sweet/sour finish pulls the wine together on the close.’ – Brad Hickey, Vinitor, December 15, 2024.
