$235 worth of wine for $200.  That’s not bad. Cooling days and nights call for some red wine, but wines with a touch of earthiness and perfume. We’ve put together a pack of wines to get you going as you move to roasts and root veggies, and start to clean the fire pit for some internal canoodling.

Also, part of this pack is a guest winemaker to show what else we like to drink. This one is made from the lagrein grape, native to N. Italy, made by our Danish friend at Poppelvej winery, Uffe Deichman. Fruit picked from the ever mysterious Kuitpo Forest in the Adelaide Hills, we love how this wine smells like autumn leaves, tastes and delivers equal parts earthy sweetness and lovely lifted aromatics.
